Frequently asked questions
Straight answers before you share a tender.
Answers about tender support scope, guarantees, policies, deadlines, branding, confidentiality, submission responsibility and the starter pack.
Can Tender Gain guarantee that a tender is compliant or will win?
No. Tender Gain can improve structure, evidence use, completeness and presentation within an agreed scope, but cannot guarantee compliance, a score, shortlisting, a win or a contract award.
Do you submit the tender for us?
The default service is online support, drafting and review. The client remains responsible for portal access, declarations, pricing, factual approval and final submission unless a written scope explicitly says otherwise.
Can you work from a blank page?
Sometimes, but only when the business can supply enough genuine information. Missing evidence is identified for action; it is never replaced with invented experience, staff, controls or results.
Can you write policies?
Tender Gain can help structure compliance-focused business documents around the client’s real operations. Documents requiring legal, technical, regulated or competent-person approval must be reviewed or produced by an appropriately qualified professional.
Can you add our branding?
Yes, where the buyer allows it. Some tenders require buyer templates, anonymous responses, plain formatting or strict file rules. Those instructions always take priority.
What happens if we find a tender with a short deadline?
Send the complete pack immediately. Tender Gain will assess whether a controlled and honest scope is possible. Work may be declined or narrowed when there is not enough time for evidence, drafting and approval.
Will you tell us not to bid?
We may recommend a no-bid or a narrower target when mandatory requirements, capacity, evidence, timing or commercial fit are weak. The final decision remains yours.
Who owns the information and drafted content?
Your confidential business information remains yours. Ownership and permitted use of final paid deliverables are set out in the written proposal and terms. Third-party buyer documents remain subject to their own rights and restrictions.
How do you handle confidential tender documents?
Information is used to assess and deliver the requested service, with access limited to what is necessary. Do not send passwords, unnecessary personal data or information you are not authorised to share. See the privacy notice for more detail.
What does the £495 starter pack include?
It is a starting route for readiness and reusable supplier content, not every possible policy or a complete live tender. The exact deliverables, exclusions and client inputs are confirmed in a written proposal before payment.
Do you have to be in our sector?
Tender Gain supports practical SME service sectors where the delivery model and evidence can be understood and scoped. Technical subject matter remains the client’s responsibility and specialist review may still be required.
Can AI be used in a tender response?
The buyer’s rules, confidentiality requirements and your own controls must be followed. Whatever tools support drafting, the supplier remains responsible for accuracy, originality, confidential information, declarations and the final response.
